World Aquatics Publishes Full Competition Schedule for Beijing 2026
World Aquatics has published the six-day session plan for the short-course swimming championships in Beijing, setting out the shape of the December meet.
World Aquatics has published the full competition schedule for the World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m) — Beijing 2026. The programme gives athletes and fans a session-by-session view of racing at the Beijing National Aquatics Centre, known as the Water Cube.
Six days of racing
The championships will run from 1 to 6 December 2026. Heats are scheduled for morning sessions beginning at 10:00 local time, while semi-finals and finals are set for the evening sessions from 19:00. On 6 December, the final evening session will start earlier, at 18:00.
What the programme includes
The schedule covers the men’s and women’s individual and relay events across all six days. It also includes the mixed freestyle and mixed medley relays that have become part of the short-course programme.
The official schedule remains the reference
World Aquatics notes that the competition schedule is subject to change. Athletes, teams and travelling fans should therefore use the organisation’s session-by-session schedule as the reference point and check it again before making detailed plans.
